Beware the Ides of March!

Whew, I survived the Junior/Senior Prom! All of my decorations looked GREAT--but unfortunately we forgot our camera. I am still kicking myself over that! Because of all the Prom craziness I haven't had time to do any other craft projects, but I did want to share my birthday present re-do. Remember the craftastrophe I wrote about earlier, where my birthday package to my friend Jason was totally destroyed in transit? Well, here are the new magnets I made for him:

We call him Jason the Giant, he loves to wrestle, and his other dog is a Pug/Chihuahua mix and looks a lot like the picture. He really enjoyed them, so everything turned out well!

When Jason got his belated replacement birthday present, I also got a great present from his partner Gerry! Gerry gave me some envelopes with amazing security patterns.
Thanks Gerry, I love them!!!

Mega Crafting Adventure Weekend!

This past weekend I was a crafting machine! The Junior/Senior Prom is this coming Saturday, and I was given $100 to create 10 centerpieces. So...this meant that I had to make everything! Here are some pictures of my crazy weekend:
Can you guess what the theme is yet? I'm really happy with how everything turned out. I cut out a gazillion mask shapes, painted them silver or gold, then added feathers, sequins, and glitter! And finally, I glued them onto wire because they will be poking out of vase arrangements. I'll post some pictures of the finished centerpieces and from the actual dance this weekend!

March Adventures!

Sorry that I haven't blogged recently, but work has been extra insane the past week or so. I managed to sneak in the time tonight to get a few pics posted:
I hadn't posted any pics of my little crafty corner, so here they are! This area came about after we hosted a Super Bowl party, and so rearranged our furniture. Once the party was over, my husband came up with the GENIUS idea of creating a little craft area for me in the corner of our living room! I love it, and it is so much better than spreading my craft stuff all over the couch and coffee table!

These are some pictures of a few scrabble tile pendants I made! I am so proud of them, and will be selling these and similar items in my Etsy shop sometime soon (hopefully!)

Can you believe it's March already??? Where did February go?!
